The consultation lets me assess your hair for the best method, length, grams and shade and it also gives you the chance to ask any questions. ​I am unable to give you a final price before a consultation as every head is different. The price lists are a guide price to give you an idea of costings for each range and method. Hair extensions are a bespoke service so one size doesn't fit all. ​​ A consultation can only be booked via the book now button and consultations are £10.00 and this is non refundable once booked. ​On your consultation I will go through the methods most suited, colour match your hair and advise of the prices for each suitable service. ​​ You must attend your consultation with the colour you are happy having your extensions matched to. **Please do not book a consultation before you are having your hair coloured as you will need to have another consultation to re colour match you. ​ Please do not attend a consultation with hair extensions in as I need to assess your natural hair.** ​If you decide to go ahead with a fitting on your consultation you will be booked in on a day/time that suits you and a 80% deposit of the total cost will be due. This can be paid via bank transfer, if you are needing to pay via credit card there is a card machine available. Cash is not accepted for new hair appointments. ​ If you have recently given birth it is advised to wait 6 months for any post partum hair loss to subside. If you have any hair loss hair extensions would not be suitable until the loss has stopped. ​ HOW LONG DOES MY HAIR HAVE TO BE? ​ For extensions and to get the best blend it ideally needs to be jaw-shoulder length with no very short layers on top. If you have short damaged hair then it would be best to allow your hair to grow. the top layers need to be 5-6 inches long to be able to blend with extensions and then you will only be allowed to have around 12-14' extensions to allow a seamless blend until your hair has grown. CAN I BRING MY OWN HAIR TO BE FITTED? ​ Unfortunately not, this is because I've worked with the hair I've used for many years, I know its lifespan, how it sits, acts and styles. ​ WHICH METHOD IS BEST FOR MY HAIR? ​ Each method has its pros and cons for each hair type. Depending on whether your hair is fine, normal or thick. To enable me to offer you the best method of hair extensions you will need to have a full consultation where I can assess your natural hair. This will allow me to give you the best match for your hair. You can have a combination of methods so if your hair is finer at the sides you can have a weave through the back and nanos/tapes at the sides. ​ WHAT LENGTH DOES THE HAIR COME IN? ​ The extensions come in 12" - 26" in length. It is good practise to only double the length of your natural hair to allow a perfect blend. ​ WHAT DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE? ​ You receive the selected hair of your choice, fitting, cutting, blending and styling. ​ HOW LONG DOES THE HAIR LAST? ​ The lifespan on the hair is based on what hair range you have fitted and how well you look after your hair. All the hair I use lasts a minimum of 9-12 months with good aftercare. Blondes have a shorter lifespan due to the processing and darks last longer. ​ WILL EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY HAIR? ​ Yes and no! Extensions are amazing for allowing your natural hair to grow but if you do not follow aftercare or have your refits done at the required time you may damage your hair. As long as extensions are fitted by an experienced, qualified extension specialist and they are fitted correctly, extensions should allow your hair to grow. ​ CAN I WEAR MY HAIR UP? ​ Yes you are able to wear your hair up with most methods but this is dependant on your natural hair. If you have fine hair then you will need to wear your hair in mid-low styles or adapt how you wear your high hair styles. It is not advised to continuously wear your hair high up with extensions as you may cause tension and cause your extensions to become looser. ​ CAN I WASH MY HAIR LIKE NORMAL? ​ Yes you can wash your hair like normal with extensions in. When you receive your hair extension aftercare there is a large section specifically for washing & drying. ​ DO I NEED REGULAR REFITS? ​ Yes, you will need to have refits every 8 weeks depending on method and your hair type which will be discussed upon consultation. If the refits are not done in the timeframe you can damage your hair. For every week over 10 weeks there is an additional charge. ​ MY HAIR IS DAMAGED, CAN I HAVE HAIR EXTENSIONS? ​ I would always advise NO. This is because you will need some element of heat styling on your natural hair to blend in with your extensions especially if it is short/damaged. This will cause more damage. Olpalex/K18 is amazing for repairing damaged hair, but you may need to cut those damaged ends and allow your hair to grow. If your hair is weak from being too over processed you will only weaken your hair more by adding extensions. It is always advised to get your hair back to a healthy stage and then have a consultation. ​ CAN I COLOUR MY HAIR WITH EXTENSIONS IN? ​ You can have your t-section and hair line coloured but not within the extension attachments. You will need to have a removal, hair coloured and then a refit. I do not advise full head colouring whilst wearing extensions, if any colour/lightener gets into the rings/tapes it can snap the hair. ​ CAN I USE ANY PRODUCTS ON MY HAIR EXTENSIONS? ​ No, certain products cannot be used with hair extensions. Any type of supermarket product should not be used with your hair and will void any guarantee on the hair. It is always recommended to use sulphate free products with your extensions. You will receive a PDF aftercare sheet containing everything and anything you need to know about your extensions including a full product recommendation list. I also stock 2-3 ranges of aftercare for you to purchase in salon. Please avoid OGX, Garner , Loreal supermarket range, herbal essence etc HOW LONG WILL A FITTING TAKE? ​ The fitting time depends on the method and grams fitted. If you've got blending needed for shorter hair etc. For tapes and weave : 1-2 hours ​ ​ ​ Hair Extensions Coventry | Pricing at Bella Dolls | Coventry ​ Side Fillers Side fillers are used to create thickness around the face where your hair has snapped with styling, over processing and heat. By adding in 1-2 packs of hair extensions, you can transform your hair into fuller looking and longer hair. By lengthening the side sections to meet the longer hair at the back, it creates a one length, longer appearance. A half head is used to add volume into the hair without adding length. By adding just 80-100g of hair you can transform your hair. It makes your hair easier to manage, holds a curl until wash day & fills in any fine/sparse ends to create a thicker head of hair. Half Head 3/4 Head A 3/4 head is used for when you hair is a fine-medium thickness without any blunt cuts or choppy layers. A 3/4 head gives you around 120g in thickness which is perfect to add length & thickness. It is fitted in 120-125g of tapes, weave and tips. This is my most popular gram length for my clients as it gives lots of thickness and the length they choose without being overwhelming. Terms & Conditions ​ Privacy Policy The only information I hold on clients is Names, Phone Number, Address, Email, Medical History (hair related) and services carried out. We obtain this information by asking you, filling out consultation forms and information from previous services. I will only ever use this information to contact you about appointments and your services previous or future. All information is recorded and stored on our booking system and consultation form application which are secure. The only person who has access to this information is Bella Dolls Hair Extensions (Laura Hooper). Your information will never be passed on to a third party and is solely used for your appointments. Bella Dolls Hair Extensions will not provide or sell any of your information to third parties. ​ Communications Bella Dolls Hair Extensions will sometimes contact you with regards to services, special offers and new products. You will be given an opportunity when you fill out your consultation form to opt in/out of any communications. ​ Complaints On the very rare occasion you are unhappy with your extensions please get in touch asap within 30 days of your fitting. My priority is for you to be completely satisfied from start to finish. If you are not happy with the service you have received please tell me before leaving or as soon as possible once you have left. If you have already left the salon, please do not go to another salon as I have the right to see and assess your hair. If you alter your hair elsewhere or leave your complaint after 30 days then I will not be able to offer any sort of resolution. ​ ​ Booking Fees & Cancellations ​ CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS If you are needing to amend/move/cancel your appointment you must give 72 hours notice. Your deposit will be moved to another day/time, once. If less than 48 hours notice is given your 50% deposit is retained and you will need to pay another 50% deposit to secure another appointment. If less than 24 hours notice is given or you do not show for your appointment, you will be liable for the total cost of the appointment. This is payable before any other appointments are booked for you. A refusal to pay the cancellation fee will mean removal from Bella Dolls client list and you will no longer be able to book an appointment. Your card will be charged for the total appointment cost by the card on file in the booking system. (I have no access to card numbers or details ) *Amend : changing the amount of hair fitted If you are cancelling due to covid, you will need to send proof of a positive test to waive any cancellation fees above. ​ CONSULTATIONS Please ensure you come to your consultation with your hair colour you are happy for your extensions to be matched to. if you have an uneven or faded colour it is recommended to have your hair coloured to ensure a perfect match. If you come to your consultation and you are still yet to have your hair coloured or you are wearing extensions you will need to book another chargeable consultation as you will need another appointment. I can only give you a final price on the colour I am matching you to as the price is dependant on shade. If you decide to book in for a fitting then the total cost of appointment is due upon booking. This can be paid via card, bank transfer or via klarna. HYGIENE Please attend your appointment with washed, clean, dry and straight hair. I will not work on unclean hair and your appointment will not go ahead. You will be charged for the full appointment. This includes consultations, removals, fittings and refits. PLUS ONES Please do not bring friends/family/children/babies to the salon with you to your appointment, If you arrive with a plus one, your appointment will be cancelled and you will need to pay the full appointment cost inline with the cancellation policy. LATENESS If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, the service will be cut short and the full appointment cost will be due. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and the total appointment cost will be due in line with the cancellation policy. I can only allow 5 minutes lateness for a consultation as the appointment is only 30 minutes long. If you are anymore than 5 minutes late then you will need to reschedule the consultation at your own cost. ​ PROPERTY LOSS/DAMAGE It is your responsibility to take care of any personal belongings you bring into the salon. Bella Dolls Hair Extensions accepts no responsibility for any damage/loss unless it is due to a member of staffs carelessness. ​​ PRICING AND APPOINTMENTS Whilst Bella Dolls Hair Extensions aims to ensure that all prices, descriptions and available dates are correct, we may make an error. All prices are a rough guide and a final price will be advised on consultation. This is because you may need more/less hair than you think and a method that you would like may not be suitable. I ensure that the online booking system is up to date and correct but errors may occur. ​ ​ ​ FAULTS WITH HAIR If your hair extensions appear faulty due to a quality issue you must report this within 7 days of your fitting. Human hair is a consumable product and if any faults do occur it will be within 7 days once the hair has been washed/styled. The hair has to be removed by myself in full and sent back to the supplier for testing. They will test for products used, hair quality and heat/colour damage. Hair must be removed within 7 days of notification of any faults so no further damage can occur. Under no circumstances must your extensions be removed by any body else. Any hair extensions that have been coloured/chemically treated, even the use of purple shampoo are instantly void of their guarantee. All hair must be the same colour and style. Hair is not considered to be faulty if there has been poor aftercare by not using the recommended products/and or aftercare advice. ​ AFTERCARE Full aftercare is given to you via email in the form of a PDF. I only recommended the use of products specifically formulated for hair extensions. These are available to purchase from me at any point. I refuse the right to any complaints if you have not purchased the correct products for your hair extensions to maintain your hair extensions. Regular supermarket shampoos are not good for your hair as although they may say "sulfate free" there are fillers within the products that are not good for hair extensions. These products include - Tressemme, Herbal Essence, Pantene, OGX, Aussie, Loreal.
